Journal Description

Welcome to Journal of Learning and Instructional Studies, the Southeast Asia premier, peer-review, and open access journal. The journal provides a platform for the publication for research, and serving individuals in a wide range of disciplines who have an interest on learning and instruction. The journal accepts articles with outstanding coverage of learning and instructional by giving context for current research trends along with innovative or interdisciplinary approaches. The journal's objective is to fulfill this purpose through careful editorial review and publication of expert work, by creating legitimate dialogue in a field where a diversity of opinion exists, and by providing a professional forum for interaction of these views.

Authors are requested to prepare a manuscript in accordance with the Instructions for preparation of manuscript and then to follow the Author Guidelines for submission. Please ensure that the methodological discussion is adequate, and demonstrates rigour and reflexivity in the production, analysis and explanation of the research data.

We strongly prefer to receive manuscripts via our online submission system. With using our system, authors can upload manuscript files (text, figures, and supplementary information) directly to our office and check on the status of Reviews their manuscripts during the review process.

Today, we are proud to announce that the registration process for ISSN Journal of Learning and Instructional Studies has been completed. The Indonesian ISSN Center has issued ISSN 2776-2637 (Print) and ISSN 2776-2645 (Electronic) based on the PDDI-LIPI decision letter Number 0005.27762637/K.4/SK.ISSN / 2021.04 and Number 0005.27762645/K.4/SK.ISSN/2021.04 issued on April 20, 2021.

In its early stages and to become a credible scientific periodical, the Journal of Learning and Instructional Studies places evidence of publication registration as a top priority. We need to inform all of you that currently the journal is in the process of managing the printed and electronic International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) through the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), the Center for Scientific Data and Documentation (PDDI), the ISSN Indonesia National Center. We are trying our best so that in the coming time all these processes will be completed. We will inform you of all the follow-up information on this situation. Thank you.

Vol. 1 No. 1 (2021): Journal of Learning and Instructional Studies

The editor-in-chief, Itsar Bolo Rangka, and the entire editorial boards of the Journal of Learning and Instructional Studies are happy to announce the first issue by the first volume of the journal.

In this first edition we present 5 main articles for you. The main issues of the articles published in this first edition include (1) the use of Android-based media and/or Appypie and Videoscribe on Physics learning materials, (2) development of Pop-up books for learning biology of students in junior high schools, and; (3) study of academic stress and learning behavior during the Covid-19 pandemic.
